    The Wildlife Man

    Today we have a visit from The Wildlife Man. We had a great time pond dipping in our classroom! We saw all sorts of small creatures. We even saw a Toad and a Newt. It was a great experience for our children.

    Gripping Yarns

    Today we had a story teller come to our school. The story he told was called Tom And The Trolls. It was a good story and we learnt how it feels to be bullied and what we can do about it.

    New News Story

    Our ECO team have been very busy, making sure we turn off the lights when we leave the room, shut down computers at the end of the day and reycling our rubbish. They are working on something special for us next term too!

    Christmas Fair

    We had a huge amout of people come to our Christmas Fair this year. We had lots of stalls, there was face painting, a tombola, guess the weight of the cake and a Santa's Grotto. We managed to raise over £600, thank you to everyone who helped make this years Christmas Fair such a great success.

    Years 5 and 6 have been finding out about the Tudors, they both have been to Burghley House this term. The Children enjoyed looking through the house and seeing how the Tudors lived, dressed and how they celebrated Christmas.

    West End Star Visits Highlees

    We were very lucky to have Lianne Jones come to our school to take part in a Dance Workshop with Year 4. Lianne who has performed with Michael Ball on stage in Hairspray the Musical, was very impressed with our dance moves. Year 4 had a fantastic time learning all the dances.
